About Kate Simek

I am a motivated and dynamic second year student at Purdue University, pursuing a double major in Management and Political Science. As a member of the Beta Iota chapter of Delta Gamma Sorority, I actively contribute to our community while developing leadership and collaborative skills. In addition to my sorority involvement, I am engaged with the Women in Law Society, where I explore the law school application process, LSAT preparation, and various legal career paths. I also serve as a research assistant at Purdue's Military Family Research Institute, where I contribute to important research supporting military families. My leadership and teamwork capabilities have been honed through significant roles in various collaborative projects. Notably, as part of the Indiana DECA state leadership team, I successfully organized fundraising efforts that raised for the state leadership conference and for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. This year I will be continuing my work with DECA as the VP of fundraising for Purdue's chapter. These experiences underscore my ability to drive impactful results and inspire others. I am passionate about making a meaningful impact and am excited to continue leveraging my skills and experiences to achieve high goals and support those around me.
