About Kate Slaytor

I started my interest in communications achieving a Diploma in Graphic Design that whet my appetite to work in the advertising/communications/marketing industry. And work, I did. I spent over 20yrs in the industry at both big and small agencies managing relationships both internal and external, and loved it. I've always embraced change, and resilient to what comes my way. And the change to not-for-profit or 'for-good' was a beautiful and refreshing change. Now being a part of Starlight Children's Foundation allows me to give back. Helping sick children and their families stay positive in times when it's hard to be happy, is a positive achievement and is a the best purpose to my every day. Passion is my word: Passion for life, Purpose, Creativity, Business but most importantly, People. I truly consider my colleagues and business partners within my circle of family and friends. Not only do I support the Starlight purpose, but I'm super passionate about the care for all animals, so I donate my Awards points back to RSPCA every month, and now living on the Northern Rivers NSW, I’m loving volunteering for Byron Bay Wildlife Hospital.
