About Kate Thompson

I have always been deeply in love with agriculture. Accordingly, I love being able to capture every aspect of agriculture through the people I surround myself with, photography, videography, and through reading and collecting articles, books and magazines. I am driven to share my story, and the stories of agriculturalists across the nation. I grew up on a head beef cattle feedlot in the wheat belt of Western Australia. My international experience has molded me into a well rounded agriculturalist who understands many of the complexities and faucets of the agricultural industry. Through my participation in FFA, I have refined my public speaking ability, learned how to be a part of an effective team, and helped others to discover their own ability for premiere leadership, personal growth, and career success. My college career has been marked by my involvement in Mizzou National Agri-Marketing Association with three national finalist finishes and a national championship - awards owed to my mentors and colleagues. I founded a Young Americans for Liberty chapter at Mizzou and saw the growth of the chapter with over 200 sign-ups and 15 dues paying members. I was selected as CAFNR Outstanding Senior for the December graduating class of 2022.
