Background
About Kate Wallis
My teaching prioritises student wellbeing through positive and inclusive practice. It is important to me that every member of my class feels valued and safe. I believe that every student should have the opportunity to find what drives their passion and to be given the foundation to nurture their own exploration. Having high expectations for every student, I support them in understanding who they are and how they can strive towards being the very best learner they can be. TESTIMONIAL I had the absolute pleasure to work alongside Kate for a number of years within the 3/4 teaching team at Solway Primary School. As team leader, I found Kate to be not only knowledgeable of the Victorian Curriculum, but she was a keen contributor to our weekly planning sessions and always used her initiative to ensure the students reached their potential. I would recommend Kate for any teaching role, her innovative approach to curriculum delivery and classroom management would be an asset to any school- Thomas Chapman (2020)
