About Kate Wilkinson-Brindle

I have a BSc Biology with QTS (hons) degree from the University of Lancaster. I have been a primary school class teacher in Lancashire for 23 years and have taught pupils from Years 1 to 6, including pupils with a wide range of individual needs. I also have experience of working as a one to one tutor, both privately and in schools, tailoring the provision for my pupils' needs. Recently, I have been a Primary Content Author for Learning by Questions (LbQ), writing educational content for online learning in English, science, history and geography. In this role I have written many short stories, poems and non-fiction texts with comprehension questions and feedback alongside them. Also as part of this role, I have been involved with training teachers and sales staff about the breadth of content of LbQ's online learning resources. In addition, I have responded to the needs of pupils and teachers during COVID by providing specific content to help pupils understand the coronavirus pandemic and how it has affected their lives.
