About Kate Willman

my passion for hospitality continues as I merge into the mental health field as a clinical mental health counselor. I help run a restaurant with my family in Seattle while working as a full-time individual therapist. short term? I want to help people find freedom in mental health + the opportunity to serve people great food and beverage week after week! I love leading, growing, learning; but most of all, I love to serve. long-term? I hope to marry my interests of hospitality + mental health by opening a non-profit organization to train otherwise disenfranchised folks in this great industry, while also providing sustained, affordable and holistic mental health care. I hope to lead group therapy, research into grief + dying, and obtain a PhD from an accredited university. I hope my many interests continue to buttress each other as I evolve into a multifaceted professional.
