Hi there, I’m Katelin!I’m a driven, analytical, and adaptable healthcare professional with hands-on experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings throughout Houston and the Texas Medical Center. My background spans physical/occupational/aquatic therapy, cardiology, neurology, nutrition, primary care, and hospitality management. I volunteer at my church, caring for children and participating in community outreach. I’m tech-savvy and have built many computers and worked on automotive projects as hobbies. I’ve worked with patients of all ages, from pediatrics to geriatrics, and thrive in fast-paced environments where care, time management, accuracy, and communication are key.I’m skilled in clinician and physician support, patient care, phlebotomy, administrative tasks, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), and Epic EMR. I’m a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA), Certified EKG Technician, and BLS certified. Whether in the classroom, at the hospital, or in a outpatient setting, I bring purpose, curiosity, and dedication to everything I do.Currently, I’m pursuing a degree in Biomedical Engineering on a neural, cognitive, and rehabilitative track to help people like my father who is still finding normalcy after a spinal injury from a decade ago. I also have a strong interest in research and development.
