About Katelin Mitchell

Katelin Mitchell is a dedicated professional who has been making a significant impact in the immigrant and social services sector for the last 20+ years. She has her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology, specializing in Organizational Psychology, and a minor in Cultural Anthropology from the University of Victoria, and holds her Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR) designation since 2006. Katelin currently works as the Executive Director at KCR Community Resources serving the Okanagan and Lower Mainland overseeing a range of vital programs and initiatives that contribute to the well-being and integration of immigrants and underserved populations. Her leadership is characterized by compassion, strategic thinking, and a strong drive to create an inclusive society where everyone can thrive. Katelin is fortunate to live and work on the unceded, stolen territories of the Okanagan Syilx people and is committed to learning from the past working to change the future. She has hade the opportunity to travel extensively abroad and possesses a unique global perspective that enriches her approach to her work. As a mother of neurodiverse children, she continues to learn from her daughters how best to support those living with ADHD and on the Autism Spectrum. She currently lives with her family on their hobby farm in West Kelowna and has a passion for riding her horses and connecting with nature.
