About Katelyn Brady

Currently provides outpatient psychiatric services, including diagnostic evaluation & medication management, to persons with a range of psychiatric illnesses from various populations. Specializes in perinatal mood and anxiety disorders (PMADs) and is certified in perinatal psychiatry. Extensive experience as an outpatient mental health provider, including the care of persons with severe mental illness, and substance use treatment. Prior experience also includes expert psychiatric evaluation and treatment of patients seen at the UC San Diego Healthcare System in La Jolla, including Jacobs Medical Center, Thornton Pavillion, & Sulpizio Cardiovascular Center. Previously taught NP masters students as assistant clinical faculty in the School of Nursing at the University of California San Francisco. Extensive experience with providing care to veterans with comorbid addiction and mental illness at the San Francisco VA Healthcare System, and integrative care to unhoused and marginalized persons with chronic mental & physical illness at Anthony's Foundation Medical Center Education in the Tenderloin district of San Francisco. Education includes a Bachelors of Science in Psychology from UCSD and a Masters of Science in Nursing from UCSF, as well as the completion of a post-graduate PMHNP fellowship at the San Francisco VA.
