About Katelyn Grechuk

My passion for science, building relationships, and helping people made medicine the perfect profession for me. My medical degree helped me establish a strong work ethic, discipline, and organizational skills, which in turn helped me excel in roles outside of clinical medicine. I grew to love the challenges presented with new experiences, and am continuously seeking to challenge myself with innovative opportunities in the medical field as I build my career. My current role as the Medicine Program Development Consultant at Cape Breton University has strengthened my skills and understanding in academia, medical research, public speaking, and communications. It's lead me to a deeper understanding of advocacy, government, and public policy. Most notably, it's expanded my network through outreach to key-opinion leaders (KOLs) and in so doing, created an environment of collaborative advancement in my current medical community.
