About Katelyn Hatch

Hi there! I’m Katelyn (Katie) Hatch, a graduate student in Educational Psychology at the University of Northern Colorado. Alongside my research, I’ve built a strong background in leadership, customer service, and student support. As a Resident Assistant, I helped create inclusive, supportive communities where students could thrive academically and personally. In the Transformative Experiences Lab, I contribute to research that helps students connect classroom learning to real life. Before graduate school, I worked in retail at Lane Bryant, where I developed skills in customer engagement, teamwork, and communication, and learned how much I enjoy helping others feel confident and valued. Whether in a classroom, residence hall, or store, I bring the same passion for empathy, organization, and creative problem-solving to everything I do. I’m currently seeking opportunities that combine my strengths in education, psychology, advising, and community engagement, roles where I can support others, keep learning, and make a positive impact.
