About Katelyn Obrien

People & Talent Strategy professional with experience spanning early talent, full-cycle recruiting, and employee experience, now partnering directly with organizations to turn insight into action. In my current role as a Strategy Lead on the Member Experience team at Veris Insights, I work with early talent and university recruiting leaders to translate research, market trends, and candidate data into practical strategies that strengthen recruiting outcomes, improve engagement, and build long-term talent pipelines. Over the past several years, I’ve led end-to-end hiring across the U.S. and Canada, partnered closely with leadership to refine talent strategies, and contributed to interview, onboarding, and engagement programs that elevate both the candidate and employee experience. I bring that same mindset into my advisory work, grounding strategy in what actually works in real teams, rather than what just looks good on paper.I’m especially passionate about helping organizations create early talent experiences that feel inclusive, supportive, and growth-oriented, because when people feel seen, invested in, and connected, organizations have the capability to grow and thrive.
