About Katelyn Peacock

From an early age, I knew I wanted to make a difference through teaching. This passion led me to pursue an Integrated Science Education degree at Ohio University, where I spent five transformative years honing my skills and deepening my commitment to education. It was during this time that I discovered a newfound enthusiasm for education administration, which set the course for my professional journey. Currently, I serve as the Education Coordinator for Neurosurgery, where I oversee physician education and support students and trainees across various stages—from high school and college to residency, fellowship, and physicians post-training. My role also involves planning reoccurring and annual events, coordinating with international trainees, managing observership programs, ensuring a global perspective in our educational offerings, Quality Improvement projects, media creation and output, and more. In parallel with my professional responsibilities, I am pursuing an MBA to further enhance my expertise and impact in the field of education administration. I am dedicated to fostering educational excellence and providing valuable learning opportunities across diverse settings.
