I’m a Library Media Technician with a passion for creating engaging, student-centered spaces that foster curiosity, literacy, and community. In my current role as a junior high librarian, I manage circulation systems, catalog resources, coordinate technology checkouts, and design creative programming—from Blind Date with a Book to Dungeons & Dragons clubs—that bring students together through stories and discovery. My background as a Lead Barista and Barnes & Noble bookseller honed my skills in customer service, team leadership, and operational efficiency. I thrive in environments that balance structure with creativity, whether it’s organizing a collection, troubleshooting Chromebooks, or coaching students as library aides. With a B.A. in English from the University of La Verne and a Library Technology Certificate, I bring both academic knowledge and hands-on experience to library services. My goal is to continue growing within education and library science, helping students, teachers, and communities connect with resources that inspire lifelong learning.
