About Katelyn Soh

I have worked in retail for four years at Barnes and Noble College located on the campus of California State University, Los Angeles. Here I have improved my leadership skills and have developed outstanding customer service. I promote teamwork and make an effort to make each member a part of a team. As a student worker I was eager to apply my education and attempted to reduce shrinkage. Throughout my experience, I was able to understand the value of working efficiently in a way that is also very effective. I have a deep understanding of GAAP and IFRS. I am proactive, diligent, likes to take initiative, and am proud of the work I produce. I bring a positive attitude and look at each day with optimism. I am a great listener and make an effort to go above and beyond expectation. For example, the convenience department is the busiest department year-round and I discovered ways to work efficiently and is capable of processing roughly 250 customers per hour every week. I am very courteous to others and attempt to provide outstanding customer service to get that customer satisfaction. It is vital to handle every situation with a positive attitude and stay focused on the results.
