My entire life in one way or another I have been connected with parks and recreation. My brothers and I all played sports for our local recreation center growing up and as kids we spent most of our free time playing in our local parks. When I came to NC State I was a business major with no knowledge of the PRTM major but after taking a PRT class for an elective credit I fell in love with the possibility of having a career in parks and recreation. Through this major I have found my passion of helping people mentally and physically through recreational activities and the great outdoors. In my free time I love to read, play and watch sports, and explore local parks. I am always looking for the next great adventure and I cannot wait to see where this parks and recreation field takes me!
