About Kateri Tuttle

I am a community engagement professional specializing in designing and executing large-scale programs that connect people to literacy, the arts, and cultural heritage. With a background in library services, nonprofit arts education, and public events, I have led initiatives serving thousands of participants, built lasting partnerships across sectors, and secured significant grant funding to expand access and inclusion. As Program & Events Specialist at Vigo County Public Library, I direct event operations for marquee programs like Summer Reading and the NEA Big Read, oversee budgets, and support staff development to ensure alignment with our strategic vision. My experience includes advisory board service with the 41|40 Arts & Cultural District and contributions to coalitions focused on child safety and community placemaking. I’m passionate about using arts and literacy programming to catalyze civic engagement and social connection—and always seeking opportunities to collaborate on initiatives that make communities more vibrant, equitable, and inspired. I welcome collaborations that spark curiosity, celebrate local heritage, and expand access to learning. Let’s connect if you share a passion for community-centered programming and lifelong learning.
