About Kath Kiddell

Hey, I’m Kath, a Senior Paid Media Specialist who took the scenic route into digital marketing [turns out, having a theatre degree makes you very comfortable with performance ]. After graduating from Monash with degrees in both Business [Marketing] and Arts [Theatre], I spent the early years of my career in the independent theatre scene and performing arts education. But by the end of 2021, I felt the urge to try something new, so I dusted off my marketing degree and made the leap. In 2022, I landed a graduate role at Smith Brothers Media, where I cut my teeth in digital marketing and discovered a real passion [and knack] for paid media. I had the privilege of learning from some of the best in the biz, and let’s just say, once I got into campaign strategy and performance optimisation, I was hooked. Fast forward to now: I’m a Senior Paid Media Specialist at The Digital Picnic [a values-driven agency I’ve admired for years] where I get to lead accounts I’m proud of, mentor brilliant minds, and keep sharpening my skills in the ever-chaotic, ever-fun world of paid social and search. Digital media moves fast [a bit like my fave McLarens 🧡 ], but I’m not here for surface-level quick wins. I’m in it for smart strategy, long-term impact, and finding the sweet spot between creativity and conversion. If you like smart media and slightly niche analogies, I think we’ll get along just fine.
