About Katherine Chan

Katherine recognizes the importance of client needs, technical requirements, time constraints, and budget in order to achieve project success. With this in mind, she brings a holistic and integrated approach to all facets of her work. Katherine has acquired over 5 years of experience in the combined fields of building science and structural engineering as an Engineer-in-Training. She attained her Bachelor of Applied Sciences from the University of Waterloo, which is consistently recognized as one of the Canadian leaders in building sciences and engineering. She continues to pursue further education in her field and keep up-to-date with relevant practices and technologies. Project expertise includes building envelope condition assessments/warranty reviews, structural assessments/warranty reviews, contract administration, depreciation reports, and field review and quality assurance of building envelope remedial work for wood-framed, steel-framed, and concrete structures.
