About Katherine Dines

Katherine Dines is an award-winning children's songwriter, recording and teaching artist who performs throughout the world. Since 1993, her Hunk-Ta-Bunk-Ta®MUSIC has garnered numerous national awards including a Grammy nomination, while her live concerts continue to captivate children and family audiences. An advocate for literacy, the arts, performance arts and education, she serves on several national boards and presents keynote addresses and workshops at major early childhood, library and reading conferences. Her songs have been featured in major airlines, Build-A-Bear Workshops, Disney’s 101 Dalmations Dog Songs, and Hallmark greeting cards, and can be heard regularly on XM and Sirius satellite radio. In addition, she continues to write for other clients, and expand Hunk-Ta-Bunk-Ta®MUSIC into other product areas including: books, toys and television. Goals include: continued musical product development, song writing and licensing with additional visual components that may include documentary film and television. Also, development of school/educational facility with emphasis on global cultural performances and the arts.
