About Katherine Dittmann

Following her graduation from The University of Colorado, she was Director of Membership and Development for the American Mountain Guides Association. In 2012, She earned her Master’s degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine from the prestigious Southwest Acupuncture College in Boulder, CO. During her three year course she visited China and studied under Professor Dr. Li Guofu at the Beijing Orient Traditional Chinese Medical Center. Post graduation, Katie traveled to Bhutan for an externship at the National Institute of Traditional Medicine in Thimphu, the nation’s capital. She was able to study Internal Medicine and Tuina under some of the most respected Doctors of Oriental Medicine in the world. Katie completed the Acupuncture Sports Medicine Apprenticeship Program with Whitfield Reaves in 2017. This is a six month intensive on sports acupuncture and pain. Sports acupuncture integrates traditional Chinese acupuncture with anatomy, western orthopedics and sports medicine therapeutics. Katie sees a wide range of clients. She specializes in treating stress, anxiety, weak digestion, pain, sports injuries, and fertility. Katie believes one of the greatest strengths of Oriental Medicine is the ability to empower patients to take charge of their own health and she is very excited to work with you at BCA.
