About Katherine Dumigan

I’m a motivated fifth year at Northeastern University pursuing a bachelors in Architecture with a completed minor in Graphic and Information Design, as well as a completed minor in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology. I’m interested in sustainability, green architecture and residential and urban planning, as well as accessibility. I am a former executive board member of Spark, an art and exhibition club at Northeastern, that organizes yearly art shows, artist talks, and much more for Northeastern students. I am a former member of the Tri Sigma Sorority, where I have acted as an Arc Leader, welcoming and mentoring new members. I am currently a Brand Designer for Generate, a Product Incubator at Northeastern that works with professional clients. Finally, I have participated in the AIAS mentorship program at Northeastern. I have completed many classes in addition to my discipline in architecture, including, but not limited to the following: Experience Design, History of Graphic and Information Design, Conservation Ethics, Graphic Design, Typography, Urban Design, Ecology. I also had the opportunity to spend six months attending classes at IE University in Segovia, ES, where I completed courses in Spanish, Iberian Architecture and History, as well as design studios alongside my cohort. After a fulfilling and challenging five years at Northeastern, I will be graduating in spring 2024 with a major and double minor. I enjoy hiking, drawing and playing ukulele. I have completed commission-based mural works as well as digital freelance work in my spare time.
