About Katherine Jimenez.

I earned a Master’s degree in Rehabilitation Counseling and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, along with Certifications including CRC, Master Level Counselor and Bi-Lingual Counselor. In addition, I am in pursuit of additional Certifications including NCC, LAC, LRC, and LPC. My studies are augmented by five years of hands-on counseling/therapy experience working with clients, ages 5 to 21 (in-home), averaging 130 clients. I work with multiple behavioral health diagnoses and partner with interdisciplinary team members from initial assessments to treatment plans, skills training, employment and integration back into community life. The role of a Supervisor in behavioral health is multi-faceted. It begins with the mentoring and development of a high performance team. This objective is achieved by establishing and communicating goals, Best Practices and performance measurement. This approach is followed by client evidence-based outcomes to compare actual results versus goals. Analytics are used to take a proactive versus reactive response to risks and opportunities, and as a baseline for continuous quality improvement.
