My name is Katherine Mahon, and I create learning experiences that learners love. I am a Training Professional with 15+ years of experience in curriculum development, eLearning, training and management. I bring a breadth of expertise in creating and delivering effective and interactive technology-based and classroom training on software applications, business processes, technical skilled work, and soft skills topics. My organized, detailed approach and my ability to manage multiple deliverables executed by large, diverse teams contribute directly to an organization’s profitability. Over the course of my career, I’ve trained in a number of industries – from retail, to software, to utilities. Many trainings are designed to help employees become more productive, motivated, or to learn new content, with the end goal of assisting organizations in achieving their goals. However, there are instances when the stakes are higher and when employees’ lives depend on training to keep them safe. This is why I do what I do. I love the feeling of helping employees understand something and guiding them through the process of learning so they feel better about the work they are doing, and also, so they are safe on the job. The rush I felt when I first got involved in training still exists!
