About Katherine McCaslin

Greetings, My name is Katherine McCaslin and I am the Program Director at Greater Lycoming Habitat for Humanity. I am passionate about helping others, finding creative solutions to challenges and all things real estate and home design! I truly believe in the importance of stable and affordable housing that works for the family, and the role the home plays as the center of our lives. I graduated from Penn State in December 2017 with a Bachelor of Science in Business with a concentration in Management and Marketing. I enjoyed learning about consumer psychology, economics, the sales process and marketing. During this time, I also learned a lot about myself and work-life balance. I am a life-long learner and enjoy the challenge of taking on new and exciting projects and expanding my knowledge base. Prior to enrolling at Penn State, I served roughly eight years as enlisted Active Duty in the United States Army Military Police Corps, earning the rank of Staff Sergeant. During my tenure, I served in a number of law enforcement, administrative, and leadership capacities where I had the opportunity to refine both my interpersonal and technical skills. I thoroughly enjoyed the military as well as working law enforcement, and am grateful for the experiences that have helped shape who I am today. I am most proud of my development as a leader while in the Army and my induction into the prestigious Sergeant Audie Murphy Club. In my spare time, I enjoy sharing new experiences with family and friends, cooking/entertaining, traveling, being outdoors and working around the house, landscaping, organizing, updating and improving!
