About Katherine Neal

I worked in local shops in Totnes when I was 15, starting with a paper round. Once I was old enough, I was able to go on and work in the Newsagent and card shop (owned by the same people). I thoroughly enjoyed working in the Card Shop as this allowed my creative side to come out and organise the shop in a customer friendly way. The more I worked there the more I was able to train new staff, give ideas on new stock, ordering and locking up at the end of the day. An opportunity came up to be a trainee dental nurse. A career path was what I was looking for so I went for an interview and got the job. I did my 2 years Dental Nurse Training and chose to move to Cornwall. This was were I found my current employer. I Dental Nursed for 5 years and decided to take a more administrative role. This has since led to my current job as IT and Systems Support. This allows me to work with all of the staff throughout the company, with training staff, first line IT support, being involved in IT and system projects that will better the company.
