About Katherine Nerses

I am a Public Health Advisor experienced in program management, policy, and communications for domestic and global health programming. I am passionate about fostering collaborative, inclusive partnerships to make health programming more effective and sustainable. At the end of the day, it’s about making sure that everyone has the access and ability to live and thrive! I have worked extensively with international government and non-government partners to develop strategic goals and coordinate implementation of public health programming. My international experience includes working and living in Cameroon, Italy, Vietnam, South Africa, and Argentina. I am action-oriented and outcome driven. While I am an independent worker, I believe teamwork is the crux of developing a strong program and dedicate myself fostering an inclusive, collaborative environment. I gravitate towards spaces that allow for innovation. Public health can still be antiquated in its implementation and I’m interested in spaces that look beyond that! As the global and domestic public health landscape is changing, I would love to connect with more people to understand your perspectives on this work and how you are contributing!
