About Katherine Sendrowicz

Katherine acts in a key role involving the design and execution of projects throughout the entire project life-cycle. Ms. Sendrowicz experience extends from concept and master planning to contract administration and is supported by her involvement with over 60 projects of various sizes, types and Award recognition's. Katherine also has experience in leading design through to construction, from boutique developments to complex projects. Among these, a 4-storey wood, 500 bed Student Residence recently completed in Kingston, Ontario. Ms. Sendrowicz 22-year career began in a design position at Melillo Architects. After 4 years, she moved onto Core Architects, then HOK architects in Toronto in the position of Associate. Following her position at HOK, she worked in the role of Senior Associate at Cannon Design in Toronto, a Director of Canada for Humphreys and Partners Architects, where she oversaw the Canadian practice and most recently as a co-owner of her own architectural practice in Toronto. She has experience in dealing with challenging designs and has been personally recognized on Award Winning Residential, Institutional and Commercial projects. Having a great deal of her projects within Toronto Area, Ms. Sendrowicz has successfully faced the many challenges in dealing with complex sites and with the City development approval process. Currently Katherine is Studio Manager of Public Buildings/Education at NORR where she oversees the Toronto studio.
