About Katheryn Novoa

Passionate about the intersection of sports, entertainment, and law, I recently graduated from Florida State University with a B.S. in Political Science and Sport Management and a minor in Business. This Fall, I’ll begin my M.S. in Sport Management at FSU, where I’m continuing on the pre-law track with the goal of becoming a sports and entertainment attorney. Currently, I intern at Laufer Sports & Entertainment, where I support sports agent Evan Laufer with athlete representation, contract research, and client services. Through this hands-on experience, I’m building a strong foundation in the business and legal aspects of the sports industry. As a former high school athlete, I’m driven to advocate for others in high-stakes, high-performance environments. I’m especially interested in legal issues around athlete rights, contracts, and representation, and I’m always looking to connect with professionals and mentors in the legal and sports industries.
