I switched majors from engineering to biology halfway through my sophomore year of college because the classes sounded more exciting. Nine years later? Still one of my top three best life decisions. I've done research towards the applications of DNA in nanomaterial assembly, gene therapy approaches to treating HIV, improving anti-HIV antibodies, and the effects of allele-specific expression during brain development.
