About Kathleen Foley
I completed my Master's degree in Applied History with a concertation in Museum Studies(2023) with a 3.8 GPA and my Bachelor's degree in Interdisciplinary Arts with concertations in Literature, Art, and Theatre (2016) at Shippensburg University. At Shippensburg, I was awarded Outstanding Academic Achievement, the APSCUF-SU Award in Educational Leadership and Special Education, and I am a member of Phi Alpha Theta. Through my MA program, I interned at the State Museum of Pennsylvania as a Museum Educator Intern and at The Fashion Archives and Museum where I gained educational and archival skills. I also spent time as a History intern at the New Hampshire Farm Museum and an Education Intern at the Erie Art Museum to gain experience. For work experience, I worked briefly at the Whitaker Science Center from 2018-2019 as an Interactor before going to the Gettysburg Foundation that same year to the present as a Guest Relations Specialist.
