Background

About Kathleen Prest

I am a solution and goal/outcome focused Licensed Master’s level Social Worker. I enjoy working with all vulnerable populations and am driven to improve the quality of services, identify and reduce barriers to accessing services, and brainstorm and work to reduce service gaps. I am detail oriented and enjoy helping other professionals build upon and refine their skill sets. I have experience working with a wide range of individuals facing a variety of challenges from acute crisis level mental health needs to families struggling to meet their most basic needs. I value diversity and an interdisciplinary view on situations when appropriate. I am always looking for opportunities to enhance my knowledge base and expand upon my own skills. I feel there is always room for growth, and this should be fostered amongst all people whether providing or receiving the services.
