About Kathlene Henry

30+ years of insurance experience - all in Portland, Oregon.(I'm a 3rd generation Oregonian and proud of that fact!) My insurance career began with Aetna Casualty & Surety (now part of Travelers Group). After 8 years with a large insurer, I switched to the agency side of the business, where I've spent the balance of my career. Most of my experience has been with global brokerage firms, starting with 18 years with J&H where I became a Property and Global accounts specialist. I've made a point of always working on "all" P&C lines - including Marine, Casualty and Surety Bonds too. For 2 1/2 years I served as co-team leader on a large global account and later on as a team leader for a small business unit. Over the years I've worked on a wide variety of accounts: Chemical, Education, Financial Institutions, Manufacturing, Real Estate, Retail, Technology, Transportation, Warehousing, Non-Profits and Public Entity My long-term goals have always been to understand a Client's business and risk tolerance well enough to articulate it accurately to insurers to get the best match. To be honest and treat people fairly - and - negotiate solid insurance placements which stand the test of time."Win-Win-Win" for all parties concerned.
