About Kathryn Collier

Working in an organisation that has purpose is extremely important to me, I am a passionate advocate of Road Safety, with a strong belief that collaboration of key stakeholders is the key to successful outcomes. As General Manager of METEC Driver Training, our Not for Profit organisation works closely with many in the Road Safety space and our work in delivering Road safety education to Schools, Government and Corporate organisations with an aim to improve Road Safety and reduce Road Trauma. In my role at METEC, I oversee the 25 acre facility, staff and contractors. I am an awarded Business Manager and acclaimed networker and have connected and grown SME's in my vast network. As a previous business owner and long term Chair of the Whitehorse Business Group, I have vast experience in both small and medium enterprises in the Eastern region with a strong background in Customer Relationship Management and Business Development. I now enjoy my role in the NFP sector at METEC, working with committed people in the important Road Safety sector. Tertiary qualified, I am a strong believer in being an authentic leader and a pragmatic thinker in my approach to business, this has enabled me to deliver results in a collaborative environment. Strategic and values based, in many leadership roles, both professionally and as a volunteer, across all facets of Business Networking International (BNI), I have been recognised as successfully connecting over 200 businesses to build mutually beneficial and sustainable relationships. As a long term Chair of the Whitehorse Business Group and with a strong background in Customer Relations and B2B Relationships, I am an enthusiastic Networker and problem solver. Working with committed and dynamic people has enabled successful growth the Business Group year on year. Working with key stakeholders at all levels of Government, Council, Educators and local business has been an essential and valuable part of my journey.
