Background
About Kathryn Davidson
I am currently a Chemistry Technician at Shrewsbury School in Shropshire. In June 2014 I Graduated from the University of Birmingham with a degree in Chemistry with Pharmacology. As part of my degree I have studied a whole range of modules from Transferable and IT Skills Training and Numerical Methods to chemistry specific topics covering organic mechanisms and determining of structure through problem solving. For my final year project I explored the Effective Teaching of Undergraduate Laboratory skills to better understand why this skill is important for chemistry students and how the Labs can be altered for different understanding. I also undertook a voluntary course called Personal Skills Award (PSA) as an extra course of 3 modules hoping to give me an insight and better understanding of my own employability along with developing additional skills.
