About Kathryn Doyle

I am an academically-trained curriculum, pedagogy, and governance specialist with over fifteen years of experience in teaching and administrative leadership. Two beliefs drive my professional style: learning is grounded in human creativity— the need to express the dynamic relationship between our inner and outer lives—and all learners deserve equitable access to relevant, worldly, and internally persuasive education. Well-designed curriculum, pedagogy, and governance processes are integral to ensuring that post-secondary education advances the public interest; my approach to solving complex administrative problems is direct, collaborative, and results-oriented. I have an extensive track record of delivering large strategic projects. In the last 5 years, a few of the projects I have overseen include: the development and approval of several new programs to realize the launch of a new campus; the design of a course enrolment data dashboard to deepen evidence-based decision-making for strategic enrolment management in a Faculty with 20 academic departments; the completion of a cyclical program review of all 18 academic programs at Schulich School of Business; and, the reorganization of Schulich's strategic enrolment model for the Bachelor of Business Administration program to an intake of 900 students.
