About Kathryn Fair

I believe that we all play a role and hold a responsibility to build a community where every person can prosper. I dedicate my skills, abilities, and time to organizations that strive to ease the pressure for people who are experiencing challenges. I have worked with Habitat for Humanity Hamilton for almost six years; directing our volunteer and home partnership programs. The best part of my job is getting to know people – their stories, their triumphs, and their challenges. Helping families build strength, stability, and self-reliance through shelter is the core of Habitat Hamilton’s work. We believe that housing is a human right and our staff and volunteers seek to make this a reality for communities locally, nationally, and internationally. I am a proud member of The Jersey Girls; a group who has raised over for the Juravinski Cancer Hospital over the past decade. I have sat on the board of Community Resource Services and the Brantford Food Bank for over eight years. Every Labour Day weekend, you will find me at the Paris Fair helping in the Junior Department with children’s crafts and hobby entries. My greatest accomplishment is being the mom to two great, caring, and responsible young adults. Outside of work, I enjoy walking on the trails, visiting art galleries and spending time with family and friends.
