Hello! I'm a fearless single mom of three teenagers and an avid mountain adventurer. Adversity and challenges are just another part of the journey for me, alongside hard work and pushing my limits. With a diverse background in healthcare starting at the tender age of 20 as an EMT in an emergency department, I've gained extensive knowledge and expertise across various healthcare settings including hospitals, clinics, healthcare insurance, Medicare, Medicaid, and beyond. I am also an accomplished Freelance Medical Writer and Registered Nurse with a focus on cardiology, health and wellness. My attention to detail couldn't be better depicted than when I worked in a hospital unit full of heart monitored patients. I geeked out on analyzing and interpreting the electrical activity of the heart. Even tiny changes can indicate heart damage and decreased blood flow, which I have always found fascinating to observe. I've dedicated years to refining personal well-being practices and am committed to sharing this wisdom widely. Through articles, blog posts, social media, and workshops, I aim to make medical concepts accessible to all.
