About Kathryn King

As an RN Care Coordinator at Nationwide Children's Hospital, I provide case management for complex, high-risk patients, ensuring their safety, quality, and satisfaction. I collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, families, and community partners to develop and implement care plans, monitor progress, and coordinate transitions of care. As a current MBA student with a concentration in Project Management, I’m looking forward to integrating business and leadership expertise into my healthcare career. I have a BSN from Grand Valley State University and a certification in pediatric critical care. I also have experience in travel nursing, camp nursing, and medical simulation. In my previous role as a Standardized Patient Program Assistant Coordinator, I supported the Simulation Center with the recruitment, training, and evaluation of standardized patients, as well as the design and delivery of simulation scenarios and debriefs. I am skilled in communication, education, and coordination, and I am passionate about improving patient outcomes and population health.
