About Kathryn Lawrence

Jamaican-born and raised, Kathryn is a licensed Interior Designer with experience working on small to large scale corporate, government, institutional, and recreational projects across Canada and in Jamaica. She is currently a registered member of the Association of Registered Interior Designers of Ontario (ARIDO) and on the Board of Directors of the Interior Designers of Canada (IDC). Her twin passions for creativity and philanthropy led her to create the Ubuntu Creative Arts Project, an Jamaican-based initiative meant to support young creatives in the Caribbean. She is also a co-founder of Nobellum, a Canadian non-profit social enterprise with the mandate of supporting the start-up of 100 Black-led businesses in STEM by the year 2025. Her ultimate goal is to impact the lives of creatives and entrepreneurs in the Afro-Caribbean community helping to create and provide opportunities for their growth and development. As a co-founder of Nobellum, a Canadian non-profit social enterprise with a mission to launch 100 Black-led businesses in STEM by 2025, I'm actively working to drive positive change in our communities. My ultimate aspiration is to leverage design to enhance lives and pave the way for emerging creatives. Let's connect and collaborate on projects that make a difference!
