I'm a recent graduate from The University of Utah in the Master of Statistics in Mathematics program (3.97 GPA), Thesis Project: Lung Sound Classification with Mel-Frequency Cepstral Coefficients in a Convolutional Neural Network. I have a background in high school and college mathematics and statistics teaching, as well as extensive experience in private tutoring, and my current professional role is Biostatistician II for the University of Utah Data Coordinating Center (DCC). I am the mother of a medically complex child, and this has given me a great deal of exposure to the medical field.
