About Kathryn Simpson

I have three passions. Family, Public Education and Energy. Family is the center of life."Mom" has been my most compelling and rewarding role. A very wise man once said,"No other success can compensate for failure in the home." Public Education is the lifeblood of liberty. My eight years of service as a school board member honed a unique talent in facilitating strategic conversations among diverse groups to find common ground and engage in specific and intentional goals for success. In my current career, I use those skills to drive crucial conversations and action in resilience, sustainability and energy management. Collaborating with diverse teams towards better economic and environmental stewardship is an adventure and an unexpected (but rewarding) path for me. Favorite quote: Ronald Reagan said,"There is no limit to the amount of good you can do if you don't care who gets the credit." May we all strive to leave this planet better than we found it so that our children and grandchildren have bright futures.
