Thank you for viewing my profile. I am a highly-motivated, entrepreneurial professional looking for an opportunity with a dynamic, team-oriented company. Over the last 5 years I have worked on a start-up in the wholesale gift and souvenir industry (B2B). I managed multiple teams across sales, production, and fulfillment departments and am an expert in product design, conflict management, project management, and people management. I attended numerous trade shows to represent the company, obtain new leads, and take orders. I thrive in a creative environment where I am challenged to develop new ideas for products and business practices. Among my strengths are my desire to build strong relationships with my customers so I can anticipate their needs which then turns into revenue. I believe strong relationships to be the most important foundation in business. Prior to my current role, I worked for the Federal Government for 8 years as first a geographer in the hydrography department, and then as a Contracting Officer’s Representative. I managed multimillion dollar projects and interfaced between the government and private contractors to ensure projects were completed to required specifications and within extremely tight deadlines. Additionally, I was on several teams that reviewed contract proposals and was involved in the selection of contractors to work with the government on high profile mapping projects. Finally, in this role I also managed our technical services contract and worked with Subject Matter Experts to ensure development projects were completed on time and within budget and completed contractor performance reviews.
