About Kathryne Neiling

Kathryne "Katie" Neiling is a Quality Coordinator at HCA Florida Oak Hill Hospital, where she has been working for over six years. She is responsible for overseeing Medical Staff Quality, including evaluating, monitoring, and reporting on the performance, outcomes, and professionalism of individual providers and the facility. She also facilitates the Medical Staff Standards and Peer Review Committee, working closely with the VP of Quality and Risk Management, the Chief Medical Officer, and other physician leaders. Katie is passionate about improving healthcare quality and safety and she is pursuing a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree in Psychiatry and Mental Health at Johns Hopkins University, starting in Fall 2022. She has a Master of Business Administration in Health Care Administration and Management from Western Governors University, and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Ohio University. She is also a Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR) and has advanced cardiac and basic cardiac life support certifications. In addition to her full-time role, she volunteers as a Crisis Counselor for the Crisis Text Line, applying her skills and knowledge to support various healthcare and mental health causes.
