About Kathy Armstrong

I'm an accomplished creative professional with a strong passion for using my talents to make an impact on the people and world around me. My diverse experiences within the graphic industry have given me many opportunities to use my excellent written and verbal communication skills as I work closely with creative teams, clients, and suppliers. With over 20 years of experience, my expertise includes graphic design, copywriting, art direction, project management, branding strategy, digital marketing, print production, and event planning. I have worked in several environments - agency, marketing, retail and corporate - each offering its own challenges and successes. One of my greatest assets is my ability to handle all aspects of a project from start to finish. This includes; consulting with clients, generating concepts, writing copy, directing photography, developing brand strategies, designing logos and graphics that are consistent with these strategies and producing digital files. I am always willing to jump in and help wherever I am most needed on a project, and I have the necessary skills to do so. In recent years, I have added project management to my list of capabilities. I believe that creativity is a state of mind. For me, it comes through many forms of inspiration when I am fully receptive to it. Much of my creativity is inherent in my personality. When I was four years old I received my favorite gift ever from an aunt — a cardboard suitcase full of paper, scissors, glue, crayons and other various art materials. It’s amazing what you can create with a blank sheet of paper and a lot of imagination! I still hold dear to that thought and try to keep a pad of paper close by. I aspire to use my creativity, communication skills and diverse experiences in the graphics industry to contribute to the success of an organization that encourages and promotes an inclusive culture of positive ideas and attitudes.
