I have been in accounting since 1981. In 2007 I joined the team Summit Tax & Accounting, LLC (formerly Patterson Accounting). My passion is to help churches with their record keeping and accounting- Be their accountant - Train them to do their own accounting - Be a resource for accounting, payroll, membership, or contribution questions large or small - Help to determine the accounting and/or membership software that best meets their need - Conduct seminars on the Importance of Church Accounting - Conduct seminars on setting up and using PowerChurch Plus, a fund accounting software - Walk them through - step by step - the setup and use of PowerChurch Plus or QuickBooks - I enjoy working with clients.from those who have little or no understanding of accounting to those who are accountants themselves I work with many church bookkeepers and/or treasurers who have little or no understanding of accounting and are overwhelmed with their task of keeping accurate financial and membership records for their church. I also work with church bookkeepers and/or treasures who understand accounting, but need help understanding the more specialized areas of church accounting such as designated funds and clergy payroll.
