About Kathy Lawrence

Kathy (Davidson) Lawrence is a graduate of Ball State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work. She also possesses a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Indiana University School of Social Work with a concentration in Mental Health and Addictions. She has 24 years of experience working with a variety of client populations. This includes supporting people with mental illness, addiction issues, people with HIV/AIDS, & crisis intervention. She has spent most of her career supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities, Autism, and other types of disabilities to live as independently as possible. She is a member of National Association of Social Workers, & Indiana Association of Behavioral Consultants. She is employed by Opportunities for Positive Growth, Inc. as a Behavioral Consultant and works with children & adults with disabilities to improve their ability to live successfully in their own communities. Kathy had volunteered with the Jay County Humane Society & with the Jay County Special Olympics equestrian program. She is a founder and serves as President of Jayland Partners (501c3). Kathy also serves as CYO leader at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.
