I have enjoyed over 28 years managing projects in the scientific / technical industry to which I bring my natural problem-solving, negotiation, and big picture management skills. I have served both as a technical project manager making key decisions, and also as a coordinator of subject matter experts for written testimony. In both arenas I have excelled; delivering projects on time and on budget with clients consistently relying on me to deliver for them. I have high expectations for myself and all members of the work team. I produce a pleasant but highly-productive work environment and I bring infectious optimism and new ideas. Management: Extensive experience managing teams of technical staff by assigning tasks, coordinating the written submittals of subject matter experts, scheduling/implementing weekly meetings, developing tracking spreadsheets and holding teams responsible for meeting set goals. Customer/Client/Public Interface: As a seasoned professional in technical and environmental report sales arenas, I interact often with clients and contractors; gain the trust of my clients to deliver quality work on which they can rely to mitigate their risk, and enjoy dedication from my contractors. Further, with my natural authoritative but approachable presence, I’m often chosen to deliver client and executive presentations. I have developed weekly and monthly written PowerPoint presentations and presented to executive management teams. I have also set organization, tracking, and training protocols and have participated in the planning and execution of public open houses. Reporting: Written hundreds of technical environmental reports and serve as a quality assurance/quality control reviewer for a nationwide group of environmental assessors. I have also completed state siting applications for the installation of transmission line projects, which involved coordinating subject matter experts on substation design, environmental issues, and public outreach.
