Senior executive roles in global banks and insurers and senior partner roles in EY and PW. Currently a director at QBE, with prior directorships in 9 UK companies and 5 Canadian companies. Kathy is a NED of QBE Insurance Group, a top 20 global general insurer. Kathy chairs the Operations and Technology Committee, and is a member of the Audit and Nomination committees. Executive Management- Kathy led EY’s FinTech implementation in the insurance sector in Canada and delivered global solutions in digital technology, cyber security, IT risk and Big Data- As COO of QBE European Operations, restructured the $7B insurance operations in Europe - As COO of Brit Insurance PLC, implemented a new data centre and insurance operations for UK regional and Lloyds’ syndicates, developing new broker, direct and exchange e-trading platforms - As EVP Operations Transformation at Barclays Bank, managed strategic technology investments for retail, corporate and wealth banks - As President of Bank of Montreal (BMO) Mortgage Corp, managed $60B asset portfolio, regained market share and achieved stretch profit targets - As EVP Technology Strategy and Delivery at BMO, developed the bank’s strategy for omni-channel delivery of retail and corporate bank services, retail customer decision support tools, predictive analytics and operations cost reduction Strategy Development and Risk Management - Developed the technology and operating model strategies for global banks and Insurers- Advised global clients on digital strategy and customer experience, data analytics and Big Data.Identified target onshore and offshore processing- Developed risk management solutions that spanned credit, market, liquidity, operational and solvency risk.
