About Kathy Patrick

I started my career in diabetes with an Indian tribe here in Michigan. I loved working with a finite population with their unique challenges, to find answers and individual solutions to diabetes prevention and diabetes care. Eventually, I moved into a larger population of individuals living with diabetes, at a multi specialty physician group. As part of a multidisciplinary team, I helped establish best practices for diabetes care within the primary care offices and provided direct diabetes self-management training and support to their diabetes population. My most recent diabetes experience is again with a physicians group, but instead provided diabetes care and education within the department of diabetes and endocrinology. I have passion and experience working with all persons living with diabetes, whether it be a new diagnosis, a lifelong condition, or an introduction and ongoing support with the latest diabetes technologies available.
